Chit chat with our youngest

Last weekend we went Ikea shopping ! (Love that store). Most of the time when we go to Ikea, we go and eat there too aswell. And our youngest kid is in love with their meatballs with a creamy sauce and some of that red-ish stuff on top of it. He just can't get enough of that !! Wich to me is fantastic, because he is a very difficult eater.. especially on another place. But for those meatballs he makes an exception..but last weekend, we didn't have enough time to eat their meatballs, so I went to their shop, and bought those meatballs for making them at home, i didnt forget the sauce and i even got some of that red-ish stuff too......

Monday was a little hectic here so I decided to make those Ikea meatballs... and said to him:

''Guess what I am going to make for diner'', he: I don't know...

Me: The little meatballs from Ikea (looking excited) He: Are we going there to eat them? Me: No i bought them and I make them here at home..(showing him the bag and ikea label) He: No they are not from Ikea. Me: Yes they are and you always love them.. He: Yes but not these. Me: Trying to convince him they are the same..He: I will eat them because you say i have to eat them, but they are Not the same, they are not from Ikea. So I let him thinking they are not the same lol don't want to argu with a 10 year old. I made the meatballs incl the sauce and the stuff on top, and he ate them all.. So i asked him: Did you like them? They tasted the same as in the Ikea .. He: No, and i didn't get them from Ikea so it's not the same ! He didn't get them from Ikea .......How can I compare the Ikea chefs with my cooking at home !! ??

I love these kind of things and chit chats with him, it reminds me that he takes it al so on the word so literal!

I'm back & CT call

Hi everyone..

I'm back from vacation, we didn't have the best weather but we tried to make the best of it. We had a few moments spent on the beach, when the wind was calm, and the sun showed up ! Other then that we spent a lot of time at the pool, taking a boat trip, visited a museum about the water disaster in 1953..and best of it was when my grandmother and my niece came to visit us for while :) But after a week of rain, we are all glad to be back home again.

Vacation

Hi...

Just dropping in to say bye bye... we are leaving in about 10 minutes for a week vacation !! The kids are all jumpy and nervous, the car is packed up, their fave music is in the cd player. And they are waiting for me lol.. So i'll be back in a few days, off to enjoy some beach, swimming pool and adventures

We really had a great time yesterday.. ! Another fun thing is, I had the chance to meet Sabrina (Sabrina's creations) It was great to see each other in real life. It was short, but definatly great. :-)

Back from London

London was absolutly wonderful, I had a great time there. We went sight seeing and used the busses and subway. Walking true those parks leads us to the best places ever. We visited Buckingham Palace and watched the changing of the guards, we went to the Big Ben and the house of parlements, and looked at westminster abbey. Those buildings are so unbelievable HUGE that we felt so tiny standing in front of them. The details of the stones carvings etc were so magnificent, It probably took them ages to make it al fit together. We also went to London brigde, and gazed over the Thames river and looked at the London Eye, we walked true the castle The tower of London and looked at the crown jewels and how life was living in there. It took us a 3 hour walk to see it al ! We were hunted down by Squirls they thought we had food with us hahaha Trafalgar Square is a really busy place with lots of traffic, but that was just about everywere we went in London. Although it was fun and beautiful there, i'm glad I live in a small green town surrounded by a lot of forrest and nature were you can actually hear the birdies sing their song in the morning, i'm glad to be home!!  Here are a few pictures i made.

Enjoying......the dust

Just a few more days.. then hopefully I won't hear the sounds of drills and hamers anymore...I won't find any dust anymore.. just a few more days... I hope. It drives me crazy, even our dog is sneezing !! Well, the good thing is that i am really looking forward on our new kitchen, and to be able to cook a real diner LoL again. Another great thing is that my youngest son is going to be 8 years old tomorow. It only feels like yesterday when he was born, 9 weeks to early. His weight was 1340 gr, and he was only 40 cm. He was really a tiny baby..


and this picture is taken a week or 2 ago..what a difference !!
He really made up for it he is now 127cm and 21 kg. So he is turning into a big boy. Gosh I miss those tiny little feet and fingers..

Award Honest Scrap

Today I recieved the 'Honest Scrap Award' from Sonja, and I wanna thank her big time for giving me this award. We had a rough day today, and this cheered me up a bit !!



Well recieving this award is one thing but now comes the second part of this award....I have to write 10 things about myself here on my blog..so here I go:

1. My family comes first, no matter what.
2. I always have hope that good things will come out of the most worst situations.
3. I love my cats..and dog
4. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends

6. I'm an evening person, i hate getting up in the morning.

Dennis and deodorant

Dennis zit weer vol verassingen vandaag. Hij speelt het liefst kappertje en doktertje, en daar zoekt hij vanalles bij wat hij kan gebruiken! Hij speurd wat kastjes af en vind... deodorant van Melissa. Vol verbazing begint hij te lachen en te roepen. Mam kijk, deodorant voor de pink. En ik schiet in de lach als ik de fles zie waar gewoon pink deo op staat, maar hij spuit vrolijk wat deodorant op zijn pink want daar is die immers voor bedoeld hahaha



Dennis is again full of surprises today. He likes to play hairstyler and doctor, and he looks for a lot of stuff he can use in his play ! He searched some boxes off and find ... Melissa's deodorant. Astonished, he begins to laugh and shout. Mom look, deodorant for the pink the little finger. And I started laughing when I see that the bottle is just pink and a brand for the deodorant, but he sprayed happy the deodorant on his little finger because that is what the bottle says hahaha

Een boos knulletje

Onze uk is boos vandaag. Niks is goed. Hij verveeld zich, want hij heeft niks om te doen. Alle dingen die we hem aanreiken zijn niet goed of gewoon stom of hij heeft er geen zin in. Buiten spelen wil hij niet want het is 'te warm'...Hij plofte neer op de bank, en werd gewoon lekker boos, de dekens op de bank werden door elkaar gehutst omdat hij met zijn benen en armen op de bank aan et gek doen was, kussens werden ook meegetrokken of ze nou wilde of niet, toen ik met de camera kwam zei hij ik wil niet boos op de foto, ik: dan moet je ook niet zo boos kijken en doen waarop meneertje zei: je weet er toch niks !! van en dan verontwaardigd erachter aan
'Ik ben 7'
Tja ik weet er niks meer van te lang geleden voor mij, maar blijkbaar is 7 jaar zijn niet altijd makkelijk LoL..

Our kid is angry today. Nothing is good. He is bored because he has nothing to do. All things that we presented him are not good or just stupid or he is not in the mood to do that. He doesn't want to play outside, because it is' too hot '... He jumped on the couch and was just angry, the blankets on the couch got strangled because he was jiggle his legs and arms on the couch and the pillows had to join wethered they liked it or not, when I came with the camera he said: I don't want to be angry in the picture! I: Then you should not look so angry. And he said: You know nothing! and then 'I am 7 '
Well I forgot how it is to be 7 it has been a while, but apparently it's hard sometimes to be a 7 years old LoL ..

My girl

She is going trough a difficult phase..called ''Puberty''. Nothing is good, she thinks she's ugly..her hear won't grow long (genetic fault), she more and more noticed that she's different then her friends and other people (autism) etc. I wish that that she saw how I see her, a beautiful girl, with an adorable smile and the most beautiful blue eyes i've ever seen and even though she has autism, she has a beautiful sweet and soft personality, she is just beautiful just the way she is !!

I've made these pages, just to show her how beautiful she is !

Birthday fun !!

Happy Birthday Ruben !!

pfff he's 12 years old now. Time flies. When he was born all the people said: Enjoy this very little man, because growing up is going so fast. And now looking back..they were right !!
His life is going to change so much from now on..starting puberty, his voice is going to change, he's getting taller then me.. soon there will be GIRLS <--- wich he's finding out already.. he's growing up and a bit closer to becoming a man, but he will always be..my little boy !!
